The ebooks@cambridge team is pleased to announce that an evidence-based acquisitions (EBA) scheme for titles hosted on the Bloomsbury Collections platform is running again this academic year. This is the third EBA scheme Cambridge University Libraries have offered for Bloomsbury published ebooks (the first scheme ran during the 2023-24 academic year and the second scheme ran during 2025-26). This new EBA scheme opens up unlimited concurrent and DRM-free access to around 2,650 titles published in 2025 and 2026 across all Bloomsbury Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences subject collections.
Subject coverage includes; African and Africana Studies, Archaeology, Architecture, Arts and Visual Culture, Asia Studies, Biblical Studies, Classical Studies, Creative Writing, Design, Education, Fashion, Film and Media, Gender & Sexuality Studies, History, Linguistics, Literary Studies, Middle East, Music and Sound Studies, Philosophy, Politics and International Relations, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Theology.
Titles are searchable in iDiscover until the end of July 2027, when a selection of around 45 popular titles will be permanently purchased. Please note that forthcoming 2026 title records will be added to iDiscover as they are published online.
