26 Feline Funnies Featuring Cats Being so Very Cat

What makes a cat very “cat”?

It’s a question for the ages. Cat people have tried to answer that one basically since cats domesticated themselves and entered our lives for good. Because cats will be cats, for sure, but some cats tick that category with a furious check mark – they’re just so very cat it’s hard to ignore. Their meows are more meow-y, their biscuit-making skills can rival a patisserie chef, and their faces are extra smooshy because they have that extra cat cuteness in them. You know? Well, if you don’t know, let us try to explain this cat conundrum.

When we say a cat is so very cat, it’s hard to explain why. Humanity hasn’t answered that for millennia. But we can provide examples of the cattiest of that extra cat behavior, being, and vibe. When a cat runs after a toy, that’s just a cat activity. But when a cat has a scheduled zoomies meeting with themselves and your resident ghost at exactly 3:52 AM every night, that’s extra cat. When your cat meows because they think their food bowl is empty while it’s not, that’s just a cat thing. But when they pick the bowl up, regardless the amount of kibble inside, and throw it in your face, that’s so very cat of them.

And that’s this extra cat sauce we’re talking about. We’re not sure why it happens in some cats more than others, but it happens. And these are just some of the examples of this cattiest of cat behavior. And it’s this exact vibe that makes the best cat memes. They’re very Cat – very extra, very meow, very amusing. That’s the best way to make cat memes – include the Very Cat cats in them.
