href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/germany\/\">Germany<\/a>, these two conjoined homes were designed for a father and his son with his family and are connected by two garages.<\/p>\n<p>Architect studio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/buero-wagner\/\">Buero Wagner<\/a> contrasted the homes&#8217; exposed concrete interior with a very dark, charred-timber facade for both of the houses, href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/built-works\/\">Built Works<\/a>&#8216; Yogi&#8217;s Cabin in East Sussex, which has a design that was informed by Japanese domestic architecture.<\/p>\n<p>The
