(He said his remarks were taken out of context and has denied the allegations.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/pictures\/dolly-parton-through-the-years-singers-life-in-photos\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dolly Parton Through the Years: Revisit the Country Icon\u2019s Life in Photos<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Seaver claimed in the October filing that he wasn\u2019t able to meet with his preferred choice of attorney until Monday, October 5, and therefore asked the court to delay his Friday, October 9, hearing so he could better prepare his defense.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s Alive is challenging that request in its own motion, asking the court to deny his request. The estate alleged on Monday that Seaver \u201cattempted to evade service of process, and this court should not reward that behavior,\u201d per the docs.<\/p>\n<p>According to She\u2019s Alive, an attempt was made to serve Seaver his summons on three separate occasions, the second of which they saw four cars in the driveway but no one answered the door.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4463734\" style=\"width: 900px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-4463734\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.usmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Dolly-Partons-Estate-Claims-Fired-Nephew-Bryan-Evaded-Summons-Amid-Legal-Battle-Inline.jpg?resize=900%2C510&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Dolly Partons Estate Claims Fired Nephew Bryan Evaded Summons Amid Legal Battle Inline\" width=\"900\" height=\"510\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"caption\">Bryan Seaver.<\/span> <span class=\"credit\">Courtesy of Dolly Parton\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cEventually, Mr. Seaver\u2019s residence had a no-trespassing sign in the front yard and barbed wire draped across the handrails leading to the front door,\u201d the filing alleged.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s Alive further claimed that Seaver \u201cwaited until the last moment to take any action, and the court should not reward that behavior,\u201d in regards to his alleged quest to find representation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoreover\u2026 Mr. Seaver already has lawyers who appear to be anxious to represent him,\u201d the estate wrote, noting that an email allegedly sent by Seaver on August 21 \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/dolly-parton-died-following-brief-cancer-battle-rep-says\/\">four days before Parton died<\/a> \u2014 claimed he had lawyers ready to fight back against the estate.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/dolly-partons-sister-breaks-silence-on-family-feud-rumors\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dolly Parton&#8217;s Sister Freida Breaks Silence on Family &#8216;Feud&#8217; Rumors<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The alleged email from Seaver read, \u201cIf you think my harsh language is too much for you or your failing vendors to digest, just wait until my lawyers start f***ing you up the ass. I challenge you to bring spurious and feeble complaints. Let\u2019s play ball you f***ing s***bag loser.
