As Johnson applied blush to her cheeks, Rome turned to face the camera and gave a yawn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing I love more than these sleepy cuddles with you!\u201d she wrote. \u201cThank you for loving me unconditionally and holding me together through the noise and chaos of it all \u2665\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-moms\/news\/jenna-johnson-val-chmerkovskiy-dont-agree-on-sons-dance-career\/\" target=\"_blank\">DWTS\u2019 Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy Don&#8217;t Agree on Son&#8217;s Dance Career<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Days before Johnson\u2019s message, she and Chmerkovskiy, 40, shared that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/dwts-jenna-johnson-val-chmerkovskiys-son-was-hospitalized\/\">they were in the hospital<\/a> after Rome needed medical attention. Chmerkovskiy uploaded an Instagram photo of Johnson holding Rome in a hospital bed at the time, writing, \u201cSunday Funday as a parent.\u201d Johnson also shared a photo of Rome in the hospital with an oxygen mask on his face.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson and Chmerkovskiy welcomed their son in 2023, one year after the couple tied the knot. The pair have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/dwts-jenna-and-val-defend-chemistry-with-their-partners\/\">since been competing on <em>DWTS<\/em><\/a>, where Johnson has most recently been partnered with <em>Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em>\u2019s <strong>Harry Shum Jr<\/strong>. and Chmerkovskiy with <em>Step Up<\/em> actress<strong> Jenna Dewan<\/strong>. Ahead of the season 35 premiere in September, Johnson got candid about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-moms\/news\/dwts-jenna-johnson-gets-candid-about-working-mom-guilt\/\">balancing motherhood with her professional commitments.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeen working some really long hours this week leading up to our exciting two night premiere and my mama heart has been a little heartbroken having to be away from my sweet boy,\u201d she wrote via Instagram at the time, sharing photos of her holding Rome inside the iconic <em>DWTS<\/em> set. \u201cGrateful he was able to come to set yesterday and see all the magic happening! I think I needed it more than he did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorking mamas, I see you!
