(Trump, 80, also referred to <strong>Hillary Clinton<\/strong> as \u201csuch a nasty woman\u201d in October 2016, during the third and final presidential debate.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/article\/2026\/10\/01\/donald-trump-2026-interview-transcript\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>TIME<\/i><\/span><\/a> published on Thursday, October 1, Trump described Collins as a \u201cvery average\u201d person and said she was \u201cthe most unhappy young person I\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/maria-shriver-slams-president-donald-trump-for-pope-comment\/\" target=\"_blank\">Maria Shriver Slams President Trump for &#8216;Unhinged&#8217; Attack on the Pope<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cI can name 100 great things I\u2019ve done. So at a certain point, you say, \u2018What\u2019s the purpose of like this crazy Kaitlan Collins?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Weeks earlier, Trump had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/president-donald-trump-snaps-at-kaitlan-collins-after-cnn-ban\/#storylink=cpy\"><span class=\"s1\">terse words for Collins<\/span><\/a> after he recently \u2014 and, according to various legal experts and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/judge-lifts-trumps-white-house-ban-cnn-ms-now-politico-2026-09-24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">one Trump-appointed judge<\/span><\/a>, illegally \u2014 banned CNN and other news outlets from entering the White House.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cI\u2019m surprised that CNN is here covering me.
