I will judge them on their behaviour and <a href=\"https:\/\/cheezburger.com\/46509829\/guest-discovers-he-missed-his-hotel-booking-by-a-full-year-proceeds-to-blame-hotel-for-his-mistake\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lack of self-awareness<\/a>. The way they didn&#8217;t think. They just expected, like entitled people do. I will also judge the hotel, which I don&#8217;t usually do, as I feel that they already have to put up with too much. But, in this case, it seems fair to be equal in the determination of who&#8217;s right and who&#8217;s not. A little spoiler: of course the front desk employee is right, but it&#8217;s not THAT simple.<\/p>\n<p>We have a severe case of entitlement coming from two older men who made <a href=\"https:\/\/cheezburger.com\/45355781\/anything-of-yours-belongs-to-the-hotel-while-youre-on-duty-entitled-karen-throws-fit-after-hotel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">plans to stay in a hotel <\/a>but did not disclose their plans to said hotel. All started because they booked two rooms at a hotel. One for the right day, the other for the day prior AND the correct day. They thought that, as the hotel was full, the smartest idea was to reserve the extra room one day prior but no-show, and then come in on the correct date, assuming that the reservation was still counting as it was for two days. What they didn&#8217;t know was that not showing up for the reservation makes them from getting the room. They just lost a room that they paid for. Of course, this could have been fixed if they had called to disclose their plans. But not only didn&#8217;t they, but they also complained when it was explained that hotels work like this. They act entitled and mean towards the employee who was just breaking the news for them. This could have just been solved if they called and explained their master plan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, I do think that there is something wrong with how the hotel is managed. If you have a no-show, you don&#8217;t call them? At least to check if everything is okay. It feels wrong not to do so. On the front desk employee&#8217;s part, I get her annoyance fully.
