If someone says you&#8217;ve got feedback and they can&#8217;t tell you who it&#8217;s from, at least they should tell you what it says.<\/p>\n<p>How can you improve at something that nobody tells you what it is? It could very well be a plot by the boss or management to excuse the fact that<a href=\"https:\/\/cheezburger.com\/46126597\/upper-management-fires-4-employees-from-the-same-team-without-letting-their-manager-know-beforehand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> they intend to lay off this employee<\/a>, but doing it like this would honestly be macabre. At this point, I wouldn&#8217;t be surprised, though. <a href=\"https:\/\/cheezburger.com\/44876549\/23-corporate-memes-for-employees-secretly-wishing-they-were-born-a-nepo-baby\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Corporate is a sea of hypocrisy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, it&#8217;s fine that management doesn&#8217;t disclose who gave the anonymous feedback, if we trust there was any anonymous feedback to begin with. We should expect management to respect our anonymity if the feedback we gave was going to be received as such.<\/p>\n<p>What makes me suspicious is that they won&#8217;t tell him what he needs to improve either. It all sounds like management is trying to excuse what they&#8217;re about to do. If I were him, I would definitely take it to HR, but I would not have much hope for a future at the company.<\/p>\n<p>Really, how far can you go if HR protects you but everybody else wants you out? Anyway, I think I got carried away, and he might not even get fired in the first place, but that&#8217;s still my theory, What&#8217;s yours?
