So why make a grand return?<\/p><div id=\"dev95-4048564202\" class=\"dev95- dev95-entity-placement\"><center>\r\n<script>\r\n  atOptions = {\r\n    'key' : '4ba6b6513c00e0ba76511f798ae56401',\r\n    'format' : 'iframe',\r\n    'height' : 50,\r\n    'width' : 320,\r\n    'params' : {}\r\n  };\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script src=\"https:\/\/www.highrevenueformat.com\/4ba6b6513c00e0ba76511f798ae56401\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n\t<\/center><\/div>\n<p>\u201cFor me, this season, I felt ready to show our new vision for Retrof\u00eate,\u201d designer and co-founder Ohad Seroya told Fashionista over email. \u201cAfter eight years of Retrof\u00eate, we\u2019re in a very different place\u2026This season, the creative side of me was inspired, the emotional side was ready and the businessman in me said, \u2018Okay, let\u2019s do it.\u2019 That\u2019s when I knew it was time to return to the runway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Seroya didn\u2019t have one exclusive starting point for the brand\u2019s Fall 2026 collection (presented during NYFW\u2019s Spring 2027 shows), one of his most prominent sources of inspiration was old European hotel interiors. He studied the upholstery, vintage carpets, velvet, embroidery and the shapes of old furniture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI started looking at every little detail and thinking about how I could bring that feeling into the collection,\u201d he shared. \u201cThen I started thinking about the woman who belongs in that world\u2026She walks into a restaurant, a hotel, a party, and immediately you think, \u2018Who is she?\u2019 The collection became my way of bringing the Retrof\u00eate girl into this world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lineup is full of tapestry-inspired prints, lace blouses and rich textures such as fur and feathers. Plenty of glamour \u2014 Retrof\u00eate\u2019s DNA \u2014 also shows up in the collection, taking shape in dramatic fur coats and crystal-embellished gowns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want our girl to look like she just walked out of a movie, or like she could be going to the Met Gala,\u201d he said. \u201cI know my girl. I know how she wants to dress, how she wants to feel and I love connecting with her in different places.
