On Monday morning, the New York-based designer unveiled his namesake jewelry label with an intimate presentation at his Upper West Side home.<\/p><div id=\"dev95-3054292812\" class=\"dev95- dev95-entity-placement\"><center>\r\n<script>\r\n  atOptions = {\r\n    'key' : '4ba6b6513c00e0ba76511f798ae56401',\r\n    'format' : 'iframe',\r\n    'height' : 50,\r\n    'width' : 320,\r\n    'params' : {}\r\n  };\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script src=\"https:\/\/www.highrevenueformat.com\/4ba6b6513c00e0ba76511f798ae56401\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n\t<\/center><\/div>\n<p>Seidler currently serves as Gabriela Hearst\u2019s design director for jewelry, and his stacked resume also boasts positions at Chlo\u00e9, Ralph Lauren, Acne Studios and Tiffany &amp; Co., among others. For Seidler\u2019s debut 12-piece collection, the designer turned to his three children (whom he shares with his husband, Coach\u2019s Creative Director Stuart Vevers) for inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>The label\u2019s fawn motif \u2014 which also doubles as its logo \u2014 is inspired by Seidler\u2019s youngest daughter, Fawn, and shows up in the collection across brooches, pearl drop earrings and tassel necklaces. Named for Seidler\u2019s son, River, a toy car necklace crafted in 18K gold and set with Austrian crystals immortalizes the moment River gifted his father the toy for good luck while designing this collection in Italy. The statement pendant\u2019s all-gold coating also invokes the spirit of an Art Deco scarab, per the brand\u2019s website. And yes, the wheels are fully functional.<\/p>\n<p>Functionality sits at the heart of Seidler\u2019s jewelry assortment: For example, its \u201ctransformer\u201d earrings offer seven different ways to wear them. This construction reflects Seidler\u2019s architectural background, as the dangling earrings are engineered to be easily converted into smaller pendants or studs. Seidler came up with this idea by watching his mom friends remove their earrings when the accessories began tugging their earlobes down, the designer told Fashionista at his presentation. This convertible concept continues into the label\u2019s reversible necklaces, which feature a gem and a metal side for versatile styling.<\/p>\n<p>With prices ranging from $150 to $790, the collection also includes bow-shaped brooches, ribbon ear cuffs, barrettes, a collar necklace and more.
