But in a relatively short amount of time, China&#8217;s nascent automaking industry appears to have caught up with, and even exceeded, long-established car brands in safety ratings.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eab3e5_2277\" data-ic-marker=\"c4381e_5537\">We can&#8217;t buy Chinese cars in America. But they&#8217;re making a strong push in Europe and the UK, making up 10% and 7%, respectively, of 2025 auto sales. Now Euro NCAP, Europe&#8217;s equivalent of America&#8217;s NHTSA, has released crash test results for four new Chinese EVs. If sold in the &#8216;States, the Cupra Raval, the Aion UT and the Geely E2 would be competing with the Mini Cooper, Chevy Bolt or Nissan Leaf EVs.
