Most of them talk about how a hiring manager leaves the candidate with no response for months, or how the initial salary expectation is not met once the person is employed\u2026 But this is the first time that I&#8217;m reading a story about a <a href=\"https:\/\/cheezburger.com\/46448901\/boss-ambushes-employee-with-a-pip-employee-retaliates-by-resigning-the-next-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">candidate <\/a>who has to pay to be able to start working at the company that just hired him.<\/p>\n<p>According to what they told him, this has to be paid on his first day, either in cash or by check, and the only way for him to get it back is by staying for a full year and being in a good position. Also, there&#8217;s a disclaimer that states that the company can keep the money if they decide to terminate his contract for any reason. Have you ever heard of something like this? Actually, he met the team, is a small one, but he feels they&#8217;re honest. He thinks this might be because the company wants to hire someone who&#8217;s going to stay for the long run and wants people to commit and to put their 100% into the job\u2026 but charging $1000 is not the way to go.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of things can happen in a whole year, and that doesn&#8217;t mean that someone is going to be quitting. If I were in that position, I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d pay that amount of money to start working\u2026 it doesn&#8217;t really make sense.
