It did not treat my schizophrenia; it aggravated it. It triggered a different kind of hallucination, pulling me into a completely drugged, schizophrenic reality. Spirits felt hyper-real, as though the voice speaking to me was a physical person standing right beside me. It forced me to experience known psychological and spiritual phenomena. I suffered from sleep paralysis while lying down, and as I drifted off, I felt as if my breathing had stopped, like I was falling through space. I also endured a harrowing, relentless hunger and intense sugar cravings, much like a diabetic. This drug heightened my schizophrenia; it was not a cure, but rather a narcotic that would induce schizophrenia in anyone whose mind was not already afflicted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It truly is a narcotic. I researched the manufacturer, and I suspect the formula contains addictive substances. A single box cost nearly $250\u2014around 700 Israeli Shekels\u2014an exorbitant price. I also discovered thousands of people online who had filed lawsuits against the manufacturer or related entities over their use of this drug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The moment I was discharged, I immediately stopped taking Quetiapine and switched to Olanzapine. Olanzapine treats schizophrenic symptoms with incredible efficacy without making you feel heavily medicated; it carries no heavy sedative or narcotic effects whatsoever. It genuinely treats schizophrenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had gained a massive amount of weight during that period, becoming severely obese. But once I resumed taking Olanzapine, my ravenous hunger subsided. I managed to control my appetite through a proper diet and shed all that excess weight\u2014roughly 24 kilograms to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Psychiatrists within Palestinian Mental Health and the local psychiatric hospital insist on Quetiapine as their first and preferred choice. Either they know something sinister about the drug, or they have contracted with the manufacturer to conduct an international clinical trial, using psychiatric patients in the Palestinian territories as test subjects. Or perhaps these ignorant doctors do not even understand the nature of the active ingredient or its true effects, operating blindly on a few superficial studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short, Quetiapine is a corrupted, useless substance for treating schizophrenia. It may very well contain narcotic elements, serving as a gateway to experiencing intense psychological and spiritual phenomena\u2014it is practically a tool to force open your third eye. If you want it opened, take it, and your third eye will open. Furthermore, that damned doctor at the Bethlehem Psychiatric Hospital, named Naaim Al-Sheikh, must be held accountable. Not only did he force this substance upon me, but he also saw me just once during my entire month-long stay. He never gave me the opportunity to explain what was happening inside my mind because of his medication. He intentionally left me to suffer for an entire month, claiming he did not want me in the hospital in the first place, while my family insisted on keeping me there.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pvc_clear\"><\/div><p id=\"pvc_stats_1145\" class=\"pvc_stats total_only\" data-element-id=\"1145\" style=\"\"><i class=\"pvc-stats-icon medium\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><svg
