It has been more than two years and I am still banned from going to my homeland, where my old familiar soul dwells, where the spirit of freedom and life pulses, where peace and joy reach their peak, where my friends are, and where love is. And this damned Jew, of course, hasn\u2019t even let me live freely in the West Bank. They search things needlessly and find nothing, check citizens&#8217; IDs with no notable result, as if they are doing nothing more than psychological harassment of citizens. You ban me from entering my homeland and pursue me to harass me in my legal areas too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I tell you, I can\u2019t even reach Jericho or enjoy that ugly sea called the \u201cDead Sea\u201d\u2014an ugly sea. How can it compare to the Mediterranean on the coast? Can Jericho be compared to Tel Aviv and Haifa? Can the freedom of love and girls be compared to my life in the south, in Beersheba? And the city of Ashkelon. Imagine, the south and north of the West Bank are separated by a crowded IDF apartheid checkpoint that closes for hours, even days!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Damn your religion, you sons of whores! The Christians, you sons of whores, get a permit every now and then for a new religious holiday. Their holidays are more abundant than my own feces and urine. And these Muslims have a permit during Ramadan for the elderly, and I don&#8217;t know if they have other holidays. And when I go to storm the IDF checkpoints, they tell me: \u201cYou have a permit, you can pass.\u201d Where is my permit?! I haven&#8217;t found it in a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do I have to climb the apartheid wall, jump over it, or cling to a ladder, pay a fortune for smuggling, and risk a lethal bullet wound, just to go and enjoy myself?! This makes no sense. I am a person who wants to go out, roam around, hang out, and party in the streets. To gaze at the crashing ocean waves and that great sea. To find a beautiful, attractive girl and get to know her! I won&#8217;t stay there or work for long!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more than two years, I haven&#8217;t frequented anywhere except the city of Bethlehem. What a desolate city! The only nice thing about it is the abundance of alcohol; otherwise, everything in it is desolate and devoid of life, lacking the freedom I used to have. It is a dead city, devoid of life, and you expect to be harassed at any moment by a backward Palestinian if they notice you drinking alcohol!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Jerusalem in Israeli territory, when I roamed there for many months, I found that I was being watched by the police and the intelligence service too! I became famous among the fanatical Jerusalemite Palestinians\u2014those with hard, stone-like, backward minds\u2014as well as among the police and intelligence, and I don&#8217;t know how I gained this fame, even though I act normally and practice a kind of freedom like anyone else! But the police weren&#8217;t satisfied with just harassing me; they would tell me that my permit would expire at some point in the evening, and that I couldn&#8217;t stay here! I used to go and sleep there in Israeli territory for days on end with a temporary daily permit that expired in the evening!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entering Israeli territory legally was a new thing for me. I wasn&#8217;t allowed to get permits until after I got married and turned twenty-five. I used to enter illegally on a weekly basis for just one hundred Israeli shekels\u2014roughly equivalent to thirty US dollars. It was easy and fast, and it seemed safe. I used to cross the wall and the mountains; the wall was old, filled with barbed wire, and full of holes. It was just a barbed-wire fence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most important thing is that I want my freedom, world! The world must do something about what is happening to me. Damn these Jews who did this to me! This is no trivial matter; I have been deprived of my freedom for over two years. This is a form of injustice and oppression, an inhumane and coercive system against me. They have no right to do this to me or to any other peaceful Palestinian citizen who poses no threat. This is a brutal, racist, and unjust Jewish act that disregards the humanity of the people of my country. They are so evil, and they are so happy about it.
