At 14, Jia Mingxuan turned a childhood view of Aohan’s dry landscape into a simple device designed to capture atmospheric moisture for young trees. Built from steel tubes and recycled plastic bottles, his prototype uses condensation to direct water towards sapling roots. The invention won gold at the 2025 Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition.
